London’s Charing Cross and Waterloo East rail stations are closed just days after reopening following a 22-day closure for £20,000,000-worth of upgrades.
Waterloo East and Charing Cross closed while upgrade works were carried out, during which trains across the Southeastern network were diverted to other stations across London.
While the upgrades were completed and the stations reopened on Monday, they have once again closed today for follow-up engineering works.
