UK band plays impromptu gig in a park after show was cancelled last minute

Belle and Sebastian, a Scottish indie pop group, were forced to find a fresh venue at the last minute after cancelling their show in Perth.

They were meant to play two concerts at the Astor Theatre in Australia as part of their 30th Anniversary tour.

The band’s promoter said the issue was caused by ‘freight delays from the East Coast affecting critical equipment’.
