Walter Koenig, the actor beloved by generations of Star Trek fans for his role as Pavel Chekov, has died aged 90.
The Hollywood star, who joined the original science-fiction series in 1967, died of natural causes at his home in North Hollywood on Sunday, October 25.
His death was confirmed by his representative, with a statement from Galactic Productions revealing that he was surrounded by his daughter and niece in his final moments.
