Oral Wegovy, a once-a-day tablet version of skinny jab semaglutide, is now available in the UK.

Though it’s not yet available on the NHS, excitement for the pill was palpable when it was approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) last month.
