Between July 2024 and June 2025, Sub-Saharan Africa received more than $205 billion in on-chain cryptocurrency value, a 52% year-over-year increase, the highest adoption growth rate of any global region. Africa’s online gambling market is valued at $12.7 billion in 2026 and projected to reach $19.4 billion by 2030 according to H2 Gambling Capital, the industry’s standard market sizing source. The crypto slice of that market is growing faster still, with analysts projecting compound annual growth rates above 40% for African crypto gambling specifically.
