Bitcoin traded above $65,000 this morning on reports that Iran might cut a deal with Oman to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Hours later that optimism was gone. BTC now changes hands near $63,890, down 1.98% on the day, after Tehran signalled it has no intention of negotiating with the Trump administration at all before 2029.
Bitcoin price today in USDOil did the rest. WTI crude jumped roughly 5% back to $80 a barrel, and every risk asset on the board felt it.
