Social media algorithms are ‘normalising’ violence against women and girls, with one in three subjected to ‘shocking levels of abuse’ every day.

A new report from Refuge, the UK’s largest domestic abuse charity, and the End Violence Against Women Coalition reveals 36% of women experienced some form of violence online.

That number rises to 47% for women aged between 16 and 24.
