World of Warcraft: Forever is a new branch of the MMO that's making its debut this week in a month-long beta before the whole thing drops in November. It will be the first opportunity to experience some of the new quests, dungeons, and class abilities that Blizzard has added to a version of the MMO that will never move on past the original game.

When does the World of Warcraft: Forever beta start?
The WoW: Forever beta begins on Thursday, September 17 on PC. Anyone who has preordered the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection will have access as soon as it opens.
Blizzard hasn't posted exact times yet, but it typically launches WoW betas between 11 am PT to 3 pm PT. I'll update this post with the exact times as soon as they're available.
You'll have about a month to try the game out before the beta ends on October 21.
