‘World’s tallest skyscraper’ under construction and could be finished in just two years

At just over half a mile tall, the Burj Khalifa has stood proud as the world’s tallest skyscraper since 2009.

But the Dubai behemoth’s long-held record is looking set to be surpassed by another supertall skyscraper in neighbouring Saudi Arabia.
