X Adds Bitcoin Trade Button But Trades Happen Elsewhere

The button connects X posts with outside trading accounts

X Business announced Cashtag Partners on September 21, presenting it as a way to connect financial conversations with trading.

Eligible users can select a cashtag such as $BTC, view market information and related posts, and then choose a trading partner. According to CoinDesk’s report, the available partners include Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Interactive Brokers and Moomoo.
