A man has been arrested after a young boy died in a collision with a lorry in Essex, police said.
Police were called to the scene in Epping Road, Ongar, at around 4.20pm on Friday, where they found the injured child. He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
A 48-year-old man from Derbyshire was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injuries by dangerous driving, Essex Police said.
The man has been bailed until mid-September while officers continue their investigation.
