Sarah Paulson is shrugging off criticism over her performance as Aileen Wuornos in the latest season of Monster.
The Emmy winner makes a small appearance in The Lizzie Borden Story as serial killer Wuornos, who murdered a string of men in Florida between 1989 and 1990.
Of course, Wuornos’ story was previously adapted for the screen once before, in the 2003 movie also named Monster, which earned Charlize Theron an Oscar win.
