Shock exit for two major Casualty stars amid deadly anniversary special

Sammy T Dobson and Kirsty Mitchell have reportedly left their Casualty roles as the medical drama’s 40th anniversary looms.

Sammy joined the cast as Nicole Piper in 2024. The character was part of a hugely popular romance storyline with Ngozi Okoye (Adesuwa Oni).

After Ngozi relapsed and started drinking again, her relationship with Nicole suffered greatly. Ngozi was eventually admitted to rehab, and then moved to Bournemouth to start a new life without Nicole.

Kirsty’s Casualty alter-ego Faith Cadogan arrived at Holby back in 2019.
